Cordes sur Ciel and Castelnau de Montmiral, Bastides included in the list of the 200 prettiest towns and villages of France are nearby. At only 7 Km distance there is an outdoor leisure park with a swimming pool, boating lake, river, picnic area and walks. Horse-riding is available within 5 minutes. Walks and cycle routes around fields of sunflowers are literally on the doorstep.
Within easy reach are Moissac, a World Heritage site close to Montauban (which has the famous Ingres Museum) and Toulouse, the Paris of the South West, with its great Medieval churches, museums, the Space Centre and elegant shops and restaurants. Our neighbouring department, the Aveyron offers wonderful scenery and fascinating towns and villages including Najac and Villefranche-de-Rouergue, and the recently opened world famous Le Viaduc de Millau, the highest bridge in the world.
